Power In Prayer 

Be Anxious For Nothing, But In Everything By Prayer And Supplication With Thanksgiving Let Your Requests Be Known To God.  Philippians 4:6

God does not require prayers with seminary phrases and fancy words from us. He wants our love, worship and our time; He already knows what is on our minds and in our hearts. 

Still, sometimes I find my mind has wondered off from a great start to a prayer to the Lord and landed on the grocery list I forgot to make. Other times I find myself staring at the wall trying to form words to express my feelings at the moment. I have been known to just close my eyes and ask the Holy Spirit to intercede on my behalf. 

And then there are days that I recite the prayer that Jesus taught us how to pray with The Lord's Prayer. Any way you choose honors the Lord if it is honest and from your heart.
